Wyndham has announced that its Wyndham Rewards hotel loyalty program has expanded into Latin America. The program now covers countries in the region that include Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, and Peru.

In addition to the program’s expansion, Wyndham Rewards has also launched a new global rewards catalogue, which will allow members in all participating countries to redeem points for locally relevant items. These can include rewards such as gift cards and tickets to local retailers and events.

From September 27 to November 26, 2012, Wyndham Rewards members traveling to any of the newly participating Latin American countries will be eligible to earn 5,500 bonus points after two qualifying stays at participating hotels. More details will be available on September 27, and can be found at www.wyndhamrewards.com.
