Porter Airlines has officially opened its newest passenger lounge, located at Newark Liberty International Airport.  Porter lounges are open to every Porter customer, and they feature Wi-Fi Internet access, cold beverages, specialty coffee, and snacks.  Newark is Porter’s third destination to offer complimentary lounge access; the other two are Toronto and Ottawa.

The Consulate General of Canada in New York, Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation (OTMPC), and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey were among those that participated in the opening festivities.  Passengers were treated to Ontario wine and cheese tastings, and travel counselors with OTMPC were in attendance to provide specific advice to those who would be visiting the province of Ontario.

Porter Airlines offers up to 13 daily round-trip flights between Newark and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport.  Connecting flights are also available to numerous other destinations in Canada, including Windsor, Sudbury, Ottawa, Timmins, and Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario.
