In keeping with the California rustic motif, the front desk is made from a reclaimed eucalyptus tree and the natural décor continues with reclaimed wood snow fence headboards in each room. An indoor-outdoor bar leads to a pool surrounded by redwood trees and features fire pits and cabanas as well as a poolside fitness center. Guest rooms feature 37” flatscreen televisions, down bedding, a choice of pillows available via a pillow menu, as well as free in-room Wi-Fi.

The hotel’s Solaire Restaurant and Bar, which offers indoor and outdoor dining, will open September 7, and will serve modern American cuisine.  The hotel offers 8,000 square feet (743.2 m2) of meeting space including the 4,400 square feet (408.7 m2)  Sequoia Ballroom.

Hotel Paradox is located in downtown Santa Cruz and within walking distance of the city’s famed Pacific Avenue and the Pacific Garden Mall.
