The Four Seasons Baku is the chain’s 89th property worldwide and first in Azerbaijan. Keeping in line with other Four Seasons properties, the hotel is built in the Beaux-Arts style and overlooks Baku Boulevard, a promenade along the Caspian Sea. Amenities include Internet access, twice daily housekeeping service, marble bathrooms, and balconies with city or water views for many rooms. The Penthouse Spa includes Turkish-style hammams, as well as a fitness center and glass roofed pool.
The hotel caters to business travelers with five wood-paneled meeting rooms ranging in size from 495 to 1,582 square feet (46 to 147 square meters), videoconferencing facilities, and a professional support staff in the second-floor Baku conference center.
Baku is Azerbaijan’s capital and sits on the Caspian Sea. The former-Soviet city was once used as a trading center for the region’s oil and combines its architectural and cultural history with a growing wine industry, arts, and club scene.
