Alaska Airlines Adds Service Between Seattle and San Antonio, Texas

Alaska Airlines launched daily, nonstop service between Seattle and San Antonio, Texas. The new route brings the total number of destinations east of the Rocky Mountains serviced to 16. San Antonio joins Austin, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Houston as Texas airports serviced by Alaska Airlines.

East-bound daily flights depart Seattle at 12:30 p.m. and arrive in San Antonio at 6:35 p.m., while west-bound flights leave San Antonio at 7:35 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 9:55 p.m. The route will be operated on board Boeing 737-800 aircraft, which feature first class seating for 16 and 141 seats in the main cabin.

As a promotion of the new services, passengers who are Mileage Plan members can earn double miles between September 17 and October 29, 2012.
