Southwest Airlines has launched new routes to Ohio’s Akron-Canton Airport and Dayton International Airport.

From Akron-Canton, Southwest now offers two daily, round-trip flights to Chicago midway, and one daily round-trip flight to Denver. From Dayton, the carrier now flies a daily route to Denver.

The new flights will complement AirTran’s current service to these cities, which will all eventually convert to Southwest flights as the two brands fully integrate. AirTran currently flies 11 daily flights from Akron-Canton, and eight from Denver.
