Southwest Adds Reagan National-St. Louis Route
Southwest Airlines has announced it will launch twice daily, nonstop service between Reagan National and Lambert-St. Louis International Airport on September 30.
In celebration of the new route, Southwest is offering a promotional fare of $139 one-way tickets between the destinations purchased through August 6. The promotional fare is available for flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays between October 2 and November 14 (with an October 6 blackout date). Tickets must be purchased at Southwest’s website.
Southwest first launched service to Reagan National last month, with daily, nonstop round-trip service from Austin. The carrier was able to add the St. Louis route as a result of its purchase of four inside-perimeter slots at Reagan National.
Southwest Airlines is the largest carrier at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, and Reagan National is now the 34th destination it flies to from the airport. Southwest is also launching service between St. Louis and LaGuardia and San Antonio on August 12.
