Residence Inn at Tysons Corner Gets Makeover

The Residence Inn at Tysons Corner in Vienna, Virginia, recently completed a series of renovations. Included in the work were a new complimentary high-sped internet system, new flat-screen TVs, LEEDS-certified energy-efficient appliances in each room, and more and conveniently located electrical outlets.  Other major improvements included  a remodeled breakfast area and an updated 24-hour fitness center.

The Residence Inn is comprised of 12 separate villa-style buildings surrounding an outdoor pool and garden-style courtyard.  Each room is a suite that a full kitchen and many rooms have a separate bedroom. The hotel also boasts a fire pit and gazebo, and hosts weekly social gatherings for guests during the week.

Although it is located in the heart of one of the fastest growing business centers in the country, Tysons Corner maintains a quiet atmosphere in a residential environment. Home to the largest shopping mall in the Baltimore-D.C. area, Tysons Corner features such notable stores and attractions as Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylors, a 16-screen AMC multiplex movie theater, and the world’s first Apple store. The world headquarters of USA Today and Capital one are also located in Tysons Corner.

Residence Inns are part of Marriott International and are intended for guests on longer stays than a typical hotel visit.
