Waldorf Astoria Launches Personal Concierge Program
Personal concierges will be assigned to each guest to assist them before, during, and after their stay. Concierges will help guests when selecting dining options, arranging transportation, and with other needs they might have.
Concierges will send guests personalized email before they arrive to assist them with any requests or arrangements they may need before or upon arrival. Once a guest arrives, their personal concierge will greet them and provide them with a VIP experience that allows them to skip the standard check-in process. Guests will also have 24-hour access to other hotel representatives who are local experts and can help them with their needs.
With the launch of True Waldorf Service, Waldorf becomes the first chain to offer concierge service to guests after their stay, including packing services, boxed lunches, home luggage delivery, and arranging transportation. Waldorf guests will also be given a small gift relevant to the local culture, and be sent a thank you note after their stay.
The True Waldorf Service program launches this month in 20 Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts. Guests who book through a group or travel agent are not eligible to participate in the True Waldorf Service program.
