United Launches PreCheck at Houston Bush and LAX
United Airlines has added the TSA’s PreCheck program to Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport (at Terminal C South) and LAX (at Terminal 7).
TSA PreCheck is a program that allows travelers to move through expedited security lines and keep on their shoes, light outerwear, and belts. These travelers can also keep 3-1-1 compliant liquids and gels in their carry on bags.
Travelers must volunteer information about themselves to be eligible to enroll in the program. Member eligibility is determined by the TSA alongside United, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Currently, eligible United MileagePlus members are invited to participate.
The program is now available for United customers at O’Hare, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Reagan Washington, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Portland, and Seattle.
