OAG Launches Migo Travel Program

OAG has launched Migo (pronounced “me go”), an aptly named program that can help travel agents and other ground handling personnel identify alternative travel options for travelers whose plans are disrupted, whether they are travelling by land, sea, or air.

Migo was inspired by the chaos experienced by travelers following the Icelandic volcanic ash cloud in 2010. The program allows its users to look up flight schedules and statuses, and determine the most efficient way to reroute a traveler in the event the original plans are disrupted. Migo also helps users find last minute travel arrangements, in the event they need to help schedule travel during the holidays or other major events.

Migo’s homepage features a map of airports, with traffic lights superimposed on those airports experiencing disrupted service. Users can then click on the traffic lights to view an explanation of what is causing the disruption, and then can easily search for alternate routes to a particular destination.

Migo is compatible with PCs and tablets computers, ensuring that users can access the system from virtually anywhere.
