Etihad Airways to Add Vietnam Route
Etihad Airways will add service to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in October 2013.
The new route will be Etihad’s sixth within the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN). Etihad currently flies to destinations in Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Singapore. In conjunction with the company’s partner airlines, Ho Chi Minh City will be the carrier’s 21st destination in its partner network in ASEAN.
Flights will be operated aboard two-class Airbus A330-200 aircraft, which offer 22 Business class seats and 240 economy seats.
Etihad currently codeshares with Vietnam Airlines, which allows its passengers access to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi through connections in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.
