Westin Xiamen Hotel Opens

Starwood announced the opening of the Westin Xiamen in China. The new hotel is located in the city’s business district, 15 minutes from the Xiamen airport.

The Westin Xiamen offers 304 rooms and suites on 45 floors. Each room features the Westin Heavenly beds, Herman Miller desk chairs, as well as 42” TVs and wireless Internet.

Every three floors of the hotel share atrium lounges for guests. Other available amenities include the Westin Workout, Heavenly Spa by Westin, and an indoor pool.

An executive lounge is on the 40th to 42nd floor and serves breakfast and cocktails.  A boardroom on the 42nd floor is available for meetings.

Restaurants at the Westin Xiamen include Seasonal Taste (an all-day buffet), the Lobby Lounge, Zen5se (Chinese), and Qba (Latin). The hotel also has a dessert shop named Treats.

The Westin Xiamen is the brand’s second hotel in China.  Starwood currently has 170 hotels in China, including the Westin and Sheraton Changbaishan Resorts, which will open at the end of July.
