Surf Air, a new membership-based airline, announced it has obtained funding that will allow it to open for business late this summer.

Surf Air membership will begin at $790 a month, and offer unlimited flights, concierge service, and first-class amenities. Members will be able to book/cancel flights in only 30 seconds, and will not have to deal with lines or additional fees at the airport.

The new airline will begin operating between several cities in California, including Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, and Monterey.

Surf Air is also offering a Founding Membership, which is a three-month program that will begin when the airline starts flying passengers, and will give those members free unlimited guest passes.

Surf Air is currently accepting wait list membership applications for its launch cities. The carrier is also accepting applications for future cities that will be added around the country.
