The new Austrian Star Alliance Terminal opened at Vienna International Airport today.  The terminal will be the home to Austrian Airlines, Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, and their fellow Star Alliance partners.

The new terminal drops transfer times to as little as 25 minutes, and is equipped with ten luggage carousels to expedite baggage claim. The check-in area at the terminal will feature 69 check-in counters and 38 self check-in terminals. New security and boarding procedures have also been implemented to shorten travel time.

Six new Austrian Lounges can be found throughout the new terminal, and free Internet is provided throughout.

Austrian Airlines currently flies to 46 destinations from its hub at Vienna International Airport.
