JetBlue Airways and Air China Limited have announced a partnership at the 68th Annual General Meeting of the IATA.

JetBlue and Air China will begin the partnership by offering interline connections at JFK and LAX, with tickets to go on sale this summer. Air China also plans to codeshare with JetBlue (adding “CA” to their flight designations) this fall, pending government approval.

Air China currently has one daily flight from JFK and two from LAX to its hub at Beijing Capital International Airport. LAX flights are operated aboard Boeing 777-300ERs, which will also be used on JFK flights as of October 1.
