Hilton has announced the reopening of the DoubleTree by Hilton New Bern Riverfront in North Carolina and plans to open a new location in Malaysia in 2014.

The DoubleTree by Hilton New Bern Riverfront reopened this month after closing in August 2011 following damage from Hurricane Irene. The full renovation of the hotel’s 171 rooms includes free in-room Wi-Fi, 37” HDTVs, and Wolfgang Puck coffee and tea. Suites offer a sitting area with sofa beds and 42” HDTVs.

The hotel offers several meeting spaces, a 24-hour self-service business center, and a 24-hour gym. Dining options will include the restaurant Christoph’s on the Water, Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast, and room service during peak hours.

DoubleTree will also open DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru in Malaysia in mid-2014. The 30-story hotel will feature 350 rooms and 15 apartment units. Dining offerings include two restaurants, a café, a lounge, and two bars. Other amenities, such as a business center, gym, outdoor pool, and meeting spaces, will also be available.
