US Airways Announces New Domestic Nonstop Flights
US Airways has announced new daily, nonstop routes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and San Antonio International Airport to the carrier’s hub at Philadelphia International Airport. The new flights will begin on September 5.
That same day, US Airways will also add a sixth daily flight between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Philadelphia International, as well as a fourth and fifth daily flight between New York’s JFK Airport and Charlotte, NC.
The carrier will operate the flights to and from Philadelphia to Austin and San Antonio aboard Embraer 190 aircraft, which accommodate 99 passengers.
Flights between Charlotte and JFK will be aboard 124-seat Airbus 319 aircraft. US Airways new flights between Philadelphia and Dallas will be aboard 150-passenger Airbus 320s.
