American Airlines will add new service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Miami International Airport beginning June 14. The new flights will make it easier for Pacific Northwest customers to reach destinations in the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Flight 1085 will leave Seattle at 9:25 pm and arrive in Miami at 6:25 am the next day. The return flight, 1087, will depart Miami at 8:25 pm and arrive in Seattle at 11:45 pm.

The flights will be operated aboard Boeing 757-200 aircraft, with 22 first class and 166 main cabin seats. American Airlines is currently upgrading its 101 Boeing 757s to include new seats, new cabin interiors, and upgraded inflight entertainment. The upgrades will also include two additional first class seats (bringing the number up to 24). The upgrades will be completed by December 2015.
