South African Airways to Add Cotonou, Benin Flight
South African Airways will extend its new route between Johannesburg, South Africa, and Pointe Noire in the Congo, to also include twice daily service from Pointe Noire to Cotonou in Benin, starting May 17, 2012.
The flights will be operated with an Airbus A319 aircraft and are now available for reservation. Cotonou is Benin’s largest city and its economic capital.
As South African Airways continues focusing on the growth of its African route network, Cotonou will be the fifth new African destination that the airline has launched since October 2011.
