Hyatt will open its first branded hotel in Cambodia in the first quarter of 2013.  A Hyatt affiliate has signed a management agreement with Hotel De La Paix Siem Reap to rebrand it as the Park Hyatt Siem Reap.

Park Hyatt Siem Reap will feature 107 rooms and suites, meeting rooms, two restaurants, a bar, and a bakery. The location will also offer a fitness center, spa, and two swimming pools.

The award-winning hotel will close on June 30, 2012 to undergo a full renovation before reopening under the new name.

Hyatt currently has 12 properties in Southeast Asia, and plans to open hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Busan, South Korea; and Bangkok, Thailand.
