AA and BA Add Codeshare Flights to India

American Airlines and British Airways announced plans to offer American Airlines passengers codeshare flights to India.  The two airlines have received approval from the Indian government to offer flights from London’s Heathrow Airport to Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Mumbai

The flights are scheduled to start on March 29 and tickets may be purchased today.

Both airlines are members of the oneworld alliance and members of American’s AAdvantage frequent flyer program will be able to earn miles on the codeshrae flights.

American currently offers service to India via Jet Airways in Brussels.  Those flights will continue to be offered.
