United to Launch Newark to Istanbul Service

United Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance, plans to launch service between Newark Liberty International Airport and Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport, starting July 1, 2012, pending government approval.

The flight will first operate using Boeing 767-300 aircraft, with three cabins, as well as Economy Plus seating. Starting August 28, United will fly the two-cabin Boeing 767-300 aircraft, which also includes Economy Plus seating, on this route.
