United Rebrands First- and Business-Class to Global First and BusinessFirst
On the heels of announcing new first- and business-class dining options, United Airlines announced a complete rebranding of its long-haul international premium cabins.
Starting on March 3, United will introduce United Global First on its three-cabin aircraft and United BusinessFirst, business-class on its two- and three-cabin aircraft. Both Global First and BusinessFirst will feature new amenity kits, pillows, and blankets.
In the second quarter of 2012, United will further upgrade its new first class service with more comfortable bedding, additional dining options, , and new amenity kits. BusinessFirst will include an additional entrée option (along with improved food quality across the board), an expanded wine selection, ice cream sundaes, duvet-style blankets, higher quality pillows, and hot towels.
These improvements are part of United’s $550 million investment to upgrade the interiors of their aircraft.
