United Announces New Dining Options in First and Business

United Airlines announced changes and enhancements to its in-flight first- and business-class service for flights within North America.

For flights one hour or less, Biscoff cookies or pretzels will be served.

For flights of 220-699 miles (1-2 hours), passengers will be offered warm breakfast scones or snacks that may include nuts, energy bars, chips, chocolate, and fresh fruit.

For flights of 700-2,299 miles (2-5 hours, passengers will receive a hot meal when the flight is aloft during the lunch or dinner hour. At other times, a light snack will be served.

For flights of 2,300 miles or more (5 hours or longer), the in-flight service will include a hot meal and ice cream sundae plus a pre-arrival snack.  On late-night departures, a light snack will be offered plus a pre-arrival scone.
