Enterprise Rent-a-Car announced an enhanced version of Enterprise Plus,  its loyalty program.  Starting March 1, the revamped program offers members points that don’t expire, free rental days on any car on any day, with no blackout periods, new levels of membership, dedicated check-in at some locations, and a dedicated customer service phone number.

The program has four tiers: Enterprise Plus (the basic level), followed by Silver (six rentals), Gold (12 rentals or 40 rental days), and Platinum (24 rentals or 85 rental days). Silver-level members get one free upgrade per year, gold gets two, and platinum four.

A free weekend rental day starts at 400 points, which compares favorably with Hertz, which requires 500 points.  Some rentals are not eligible for points so read the terms and conditions when signing up.
