Simple.TV DVR Announced for iPad, Roku, Boxee, Google TV

Simple.TV unveiled a high-definition tuner that will convert an Apple iPad, Roku box, Google TV, or Boxee Box as well as any Web browser into a fully-featured DVR that is accessible from anywhere.

The system streams content directly to a device or browser and does not require a wired connection (such as an HDMI cable). An optional Premier Service subscription adds an electronic program guide, automatic recording of TV shows and series, and unlimited remote streaming.
