First DoubleTree to Open in Japan

Hilton will open its first DoubleTree by Hilton in mid-2012 in Naha, the capital of Okinawa, DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphiain the city’s central business district and opposite the Okinawa Monorail station.  The hotel is conveniently located 11 minutes from Naha Airport by monorail and within walking distance of the ferry terminal.

The Kokusai Dori shopping district is one kilometer away as are many Okinawa government offices.

There are over 280 DoubleTree hotels in 23 countries worldwide and the DoubleTree Naha will continue the chain’s tradition of presenting a warm chocolate chip cookie to every guest at check-in.  Amenities include a restaurant, meeting rooms, and an on-site laundry.
