Marriott Rewards Members Can Use Points for Travel Insurance
Members of the Marriott Rewards loyalty program can now buy travel insurance from
CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services using points.
CSA is offering Marriott Rewards members the Protect Me Plan, which covers trips that are 75 miles from home or more, and are not more than 31 days long. Coverage extends to trips that include stays in hotels not affiliated with Marriott, as well as travel to see relatives and friends.
Members can buy the plan for a year for 30,000 Marriott Rewards points, or $149.
The policy covers flight delays, cancellations, stolen or lost travel documents, and certain types of damage to rental cars. Up to ten travel companions are covered
