Hilton Worldwide’s The Conrad New York hotel is to open later this year in the Financial District’s Battery Park City, at 102 North End Avenue (at Vesey Street).  The all-suite hotel, adjacent to the Hudson River and the new Freedom Tower (One World Trade), will have 463 guestrooms, starting at 430 square feet, that will feature amenities including high-speed and Wi-Fi access, flat-screen HD televisions and spacious work areas.

The hotel will also house Atrio restaurant, offering American fare and all-day dining, a rooftop bar with views of the Hudson River and Manhattan, a coffee bar, a 24-hour gym, and more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space, with state-of-the-art technology.   A 6,200-square-foot grand ballroom will be able to host more than 600 people.

In partnership with The Conrad, restaurateur Danny Meyer will have three restaurants adjacent to the hotel; burger stand Shake Shack opened in June at 215 Murray Street,  barbeque restaurant Blue Smoke is to open at 255 Vesey Street, and North End Grill, serving an American seafood menu created by 2011 “Top Chef Masters” star Floyd Cardoz, will be at 104 North End Avenue, and will also include a Scotch bar.  The hotel is now accepting bookings for February 1, 2012 and onward.
