Gogo, an in-flight Internet provider, announced it will begin offering its service on international flight within two years.  Thanks to a partnership with Inmarsat, a mobile satellite communications company, Gogo will offer Ka-band satellite service on a regional basis starting in 2013 with global availability the following year.

“One of our goals,” said Michael Schmidt, Gogo’s CEO, “is to be able to provide technology solutions that enable us to service the full-fleet needs of our current and future airline partners; regardless of aircraft size or mission.”
