Vote for the 2011 Global Airline Alliance of the Year
The three largest passenger airline alliances are oneworld, SkyTeam, and Star Alliance.
As most business travelers know, alliances provide extended networks on which they can earn miles and be recognized (with some limitations) for their status. Which is the best alliance in your opinion?
Oneworld covers over 870 destinations in 146 countries, with over 9,300 daily flights and 335 million passengers annually. SkyTeam flies to 898 destinations in 169 countries with over 12,500 daily flights and 385 million passengers annually. Star Alliance covers 1,160 destinations in 181 countries with 21,000 daily flights and 604 million passengers annually.
Voting starts at 12:01 a.m. on December 15 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on January 14, 2011. The 2011 Global Alliance of the Year will be announced in late January 2011.
Each year, Executive Road Warrior’s readers will select the Global Alliance of the Year as well as the North American and European Airlines of the Year. As jurors, you can vote for any one of the three nominees. Criteria range from in-flight service, amenities, lounges, networks, schedules, and destinations served.
