Ceiva Pro80 Digital Picture Frame Review
The Ceiva Pro80 is a Web-connected and network-aware picture frame that puts other less capable frames to shame. Photos can be uploaded via a Wi-Fi connection, a phone line, or a media server.
Image quality on the 8” display was excellent., colors were vibrant, and the unit was fairly easy to set up and use.
The ability to e-mail photos directly to the frame sets this unit apart.
Ceiva’s PicturePlan photo delivery service automates image delivery. Up to 60 new images can be scheduled to arrive on a given day and images can be scheduled to arrive on a specific date as well.
Using the PicturePlan service couldn’t be easier. Simply create an e-mail address for the frame and e-mail the picture. The frame includes one year of the service in the price, although the renewal price of $99.95 per year is a bit steep (a three-year subscription is also available for $249.95).
The frame can also receive news and weather updates and there is unlimited on-line storage for photos.
$158.09 at amazon.com with a one-year subscription to PicturePlan (after the first year it’s $99.95 per year)
