Joby Zivio Boom Wireless Headset

I’ve been looking for a Bluetooth headset that’s comfortable to wear, easy to use, stylish, and has good sound quality.  zivio-highresI found one when looking for a tripod of all things. Joby, maker of the versatile Gorillapod, applied their ingenuity to the Bluetooth headset market and the result is the Zivio.

Joby provides a variety of earpieces in sizes to ensure a comfortable fit and I found both types (earbud and eargel) to be very comfortable.  The Zivio uses noise-cancellation technology that, if the microphone’s boom is extended, allows callers to hear you loud and clear even on if you are on a busy street.

The battery provides 10 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time (that’s over 12 days).  It weighs a mere 13 g and charges via USB.  It includes a ridiculous number of ear pieces, as well as  long and short USB charging cords and power adapter.
